Volunteer at the 2010 Time To Fly 10k, 5k and walk for the Masonic Children's Cancer Research Center at the U of M this is some fellow employees from my job waiting for a tree to get removed from the road. we were driving to the water stop (which is where we were stationed) a tree fell in the road about 50 feet in front of the truck we were driving in and also right on the race route. we were lucky because we had stopped to let people out so we weren't driving under the tree when it fell that would have been a completelyt different story. fortunately no one was hurt it delayed the race by about 1/2 hour so not to bad considering. and it was a fun event to volunteer at the racers were very positive and it was fast paced and a just overall fun event and for a great cause.
