RIP ELVIS

I said I wanted him to make the decision and he did we had an appointment at the vet this afternoon to have him put to sleep and decided he wanted to go in the middle of the night :( I'm glad of this in a way because I'm glad he essentially went on his own terms. I'm going to miss that little old bugger so much!! Love you Elvis!

When it's time to say Goodbye

The absolute hardest part of owning a pet is knowing when it's time to say good bye Elvis the cat just turned 21 years old in human years unbelievable, but the sad fact is, is that's he's been slowly slipping away from us for Months and this week he's stopped eating. We've already called the Vet and he's probably going in on Thursday and I know what's going to happen and no words as crappy as that poor cats life is he's been a constant in my life for 21 years. I bonded with him the moment I met him at the humane society as that tiny sickly gray kitten who's turned into the sickly old gray cat of course he was an active cat in between always a little bit of a wimp when it came to other animals, but always so affectionate and a great cat one of a kind. Dam this is hard why do pets have to get old!
